Bandar Jakarta: A bustling port in a location known as Sunda Kelapa, a grand memory for the Betawi people. Bandara Jakarta was used as a starting point. Its pattern was used in Semen batik pattern with a head and body structure containing Sawat ornaments for the head and Lung-lungan patterns in the form of flowers for the body (Rujiyanto 2021)

Salakanagara: This is one of the most famous folklores among the Betawi people. This kingdom is believed to be located in the Salak Mountain, an area that was well protected from enemies. The Salakanagara has become the way in which designers vizualize this folk site in connection with the history of Betawi society, using triangles to signify the mountain and spiritual power. Ciliwung: Modeled after one of the most influential rivers in Jakarta. This river was one of the life sources of Jakarta people and the habitat to many species of fish and aquatic plants. This has inspired batik designers, using Ceplokan pattern of plants and the Lung-lungan patter to create flower patterns and ornament shapes of fish. This pattern is usually dominated by blue and tosca(teal) to show the clarity of the water. (Rujiyanto, 2020)
